Getting Some Fresh Air: Extreme Winter Mountain Climbing

Best YouTube comment: “His balls have balls.” Ueli Steck scaled the north face of Mount Eiger in 2 hours and 47 minutes without any aid. When he’s running along the cool is that?! Also, whoa camera work.

Mount Eiger is 13 000 feet and is part of the Bernese Alps in Switzerland. The world record is 2 hours and 28 minutes, set by Daniel Arnold, except he used the fixed ropes on the mountain’s traverse. No ropes by Steck > ropes by Arnold, and flat-out crazy!
